Hello football families, my name is Doug Sommer. I am the Head Football Coach at Gladstone High School. I am writing about our upcoming youth football season. First, there are many changes. The league that we played in for the past two seasons has been absorbed by P.A.A.L.. The new league has twelve associations that participate within the organization. The best part of our new affiliation is that it is completely free for our players to participate! There is no pay to play fees or league fees! This is a great opportunity for players in our community! Players 3rd-8th grade can register to play by clicking here.

We need your help! As we start out on a new path we need community participation to help our youth football program to function. We need a youth board to run the organization. In other words, we need a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. We also need coaches (hopefully a minimum of three per team) for the three levels (third/fourth grade flag, fifth/sixth grade tackle, and seventh/eighth grade tackle). The high school coaches will be glad to support our youth coaches with clinics and regular communication. Currently, I and other members of my coaching staff are running the organization. It is not feasible for this to continue when the high school season starts. Please let me know if you are willing to help lead the organization.
