Gladstone School Board goals 2024-2025

Academic Excellence: Monitor and acknowledge student achievement and growth by setting high academic standards and tracking data points shared with the board quarterly.

Equity and Inclusion: Promote equity and inclusion by addressing disparities represented in educational outcomes and biased incidences, ensuring policies support diverse learning needs, and by fostering a school environment where all students feel represented, respected and included.

Community Engagement: Encourage community involvement by having a transparent decision making process, enhance communication with parents and community, value outreach with community groups and promote school board members to be present in the community.

Financial Stewardship: Ensure responsible management of district resources by developing a balanced budget, optimizing the use of funds, seek additional funding sources to support educational programs, and involve the Gladstone community in proactive long-term facility investment.

Safe and Supportive Environment: Foster a safe and supportive learning environment by promoting mental health and well-being initiatives, addressing student success, disruptive learning, and bias behavior through proactive policies and programs.
