Kraxberger's Summer School program got off to a great start with lots of Gladstone students participating. The completely free program (which includes free lunches and snacks) is for students who will be in sixth, seventh or eighth grades at Kraxberger Middle School in the upcoming school year.
During the first day of Summer School, students participated in writing exercises to set their educational intentions. They joined the drama classes in preparation for theatrical performances. And they learned about Gladstone's robotics programs that can also continue throughout high school.
Each day of Summer School will include physical education and plenty of time to make friends with classmates. Students are looking forward to several field trips during the summer program as well.
