To celebrate the start of the school year, the Gladstone School District honored a total of six staff members who won Thank a Teacher or Making a Difference awards at our staff's Welcome Back event on Aug. 27. To recognize their outstanding contributions to our community, each of these staff members received $250 from a Gladstone Education Foundation endowment.
Work ethic can be simply defined as a personal set of values that determines how anyone approaches their work. Gladstone School District groundskeeper Rian Crocker, a Making a Difference Award winner, consistently shows up ready to work every day, no matter the conditions.
Crocker is always available and willing to run the extra mile when called upon. He takes his work very seriously, as well as the perception the public has of our district. He takes extraordinary pride in doing his part to show that we care.
We would like to acknowledge and thank Crocker for his loyalty, his pride in what he does and his hard work on behalf of our district.
