Gladstone High School senior Gabi Cronin, senior Kellen Hirte, junior Paul Brown and freshman Rylei Jones-Thayer all auditioned for and were accepted into the Western International Band Clinic. WIBC is an honor band event hosted in SeaTac, Washington, consisting of four "mega bands" of talented musicians from around the world. Each band is directed by a variety of award-winning composers and conductors on the weekend of Nov. 22.
Brown, Cronin, Kraxberger Middle School eighth grader Emma Sandlin and Gladstone High School sophomore Josh Flett all auditioned for and were accepted into one of the Oregon All-State Honor Bands. They will rehearse and perform in Eugene alongside the best young musicians in the state.
Congrats to these hard working musicians!
